CAPRICHOS DE AMÔR
Cookies (literally, caprices of love)
Easy cookies with a sweet egg filling that melt in your mouth.
Caprichos de Amôr, adapted from Sedaliza Luiz.
We have not yet tested this recipe. It is recorded here to allow experimentation and verification.
7oz | 200g butter
7oz | 200g plain flour
1 oz | 25ml port wine
icing sugar
cinnamon powder
Knead the butter and flour into a dough using a little port wine. Roll into ¾” | 2cm thick sheet and cut out small circles.
Make a sandwich with two circles filled with ovos móles
Dust with icing sugar mixed with cinnamon powder
Take care when handling the circles which are very fluffy and easily broken.
