BOLO DE PRATA

Light sponge cake (lit. silver cake)

We have not yet tested this recipe. It is recorded here to allow experimentation and verification.

1 cup of butter;

3 cups of flour;

2 cups of sugar;

1 spoonful of Baking Powder;

2 dsp | 10ml of cocoa dissolved with a little fresh milk;

12 egg whites.

Sift the flour before measuring it.

Butter and sugar are beaten for a long time. Add the beaten egg whites alternately with flour and a little cocoa dissolved in milk. Grease an aluminum pan with butter, add the dough and place it in the oven to bake for an hour.
