CHEESE STRAWS

Simple to make, difficult to stop eating.

110g | 4oz self-raising flour
55g |2oz butter
170g | 3oz grated cheese*
salt & pepper to taste
1 egg yolk

* Variation
Use 130g of grated cheese and 40g of Parmesan cheese.

Rub the butter into the flour, add the grated cheese, a sprinkle of pepper and some salt. Then add the egg yolk and mix to a dry consistency.

Roll out and cut into thin finger sticks.

If you want it spicy add cayenne pepper.

Place the cheese straws on baking paper and bake at 300⁰F | 150⁰ C until firm.
